The Three-Front Construction is an important chapter in history. Every story recorded in the Dukou Daily is a precious memory of that era. To help teenagers better understand the Three-Front history of their hometown, share its stories with the world, and spread its spirit, the County Library and the County Education Science Research Center have launched the bilingual reading program "Voices of the Three-Front." Chen Suqing: The Tough and Dedicated Worker

市建二公司预制厂混凝土工陈素清参加工作以来，坚持认真学习毛主席著作，勤勤恳恳，努力工作，积极为社会主义建设多做贡献，多次出席公司市工业学大庆先代会。

Chen Suqing worked as a concrete mixer at a construction company. 

She has been dedicated to her work since joining the company. She approached every task with diligence and commitment, always striving to do her best. Her outstanding performance earned her multiple recognitions at city work conferences.

陈素清参加工作 20 多年来，从未缺过勤。 

Chen Suqing has been working for more than 20 years and has never been absent from work.

她虽然年龄大了，身体不好，仍坚持大干。

Although she was old and in poor health, she still insisted on working hard.

她说要有战胜疾病的意志，带领群众克服困难，完成上级交给的战斗任务。

She emphasized the importance of maintaining a resilient mindset to overcome illness, leading people to tackle difficulties, and fulfilling the tasks at hand.

工作中，她发扬勤俭节约的光荣传统。

She always worked hard and was careful about spending.

有的同志用塑料布大手大脚，稍微有点破了就要换新的。

A few employees used plastic sheets wastefully. Even when there was a minor tear, they immediately wanted to replace it with a new one.

她总是热情帮助这些同志，语重心长地说：“勤俭节约是我们的光荣传统，我们不能丢啊。”

She always helped his coworkers with a kind smile, saying in an earnest tone, "Being hardworking and cutting waste is a virtue we should always hold on to."

她把破了的塑料布大减小，裁整齐，生产小构件时再用。 She carefully trimmed the damaged plastic sheets into neat pieces to reuse them for small components during production.  

不能用的塑料布就收集起来卖给收购站。

She collected the non-reusable plastic sheets and sold them to the recycling station.

在她的带动下，全班杜绝了生产中的浪费现象，出现了勤俭节约的新风尚。

Following her example, the whole team cut out production waste and embraced a new mindset of working smart and minimizing waste."
